Tip: We recommend using an FTP programme such as Filezilla.

You can find your savegame here:

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Factorio\saves

.

Note: The AppData folder is hidden by default on Windows!

Prepare savegame for upload

1. Open the above-mentioned directory
2. Unpack the savegame you want to upload
3. Rename the folder with your savegame to my-save.
4. Repack the folder
5. rename the zip to my-save.zip

Upload savegame

1. Stop your server. The status of the server must be Server not running!
2. Connect with your FTP program to the Saves FTP.
   Further down in the article we explain how you can get the necessary login data.
3. Upload your savegame to the following directory:

   /ConfigID/saves/

   Note: You can find the ConfigID or configuration ID for your server on our page under Game Server.
   If your ConfigID was 123456, for example, it would look like this:/123456/saves.
4. Start your server

Note: You can find the FTP login data in the web interface on 4Netplayers.com.
Click on your game server, then on FTP at the top.
Then click on the tab Saves, then scroll down a bit and there you will find the login data.
You must click on the tab of the respective FTP you want to connect to, otherwise you will connect to the wrong FTP!
