Tip: We recommend using an FTP program such as Filezilla.
Note: You may need to switch your server to Advanced Mode
.

Create a mod-enabled configuration

Depending on your modpack, you will first need to create a configuration for Forge, Craftbukkit, or Spigot.

  1. To do this, click on Create Configuration in your server overview.
  2. then select Minecraft
  3. and then select either Forge, Craftbukkit or Spigot.
  4. then make your desired changes to the server's settings
  5. do not start your server!

Install modpack

To install your modpack, proceed as follows:

  1. Unpack your modpack if it is packed.
  2. Stop your server if it should be running. The status of the server must be Server not running!
  3. Connect to the Saves FTP'
  4. Upload the following folders (if available) of the modpack:configlibrarieslibrarymodpackmodspluginsscripts
These belong in the following directory on the server:/ConfigID/ ( the same directory where the world folder is located )
  5. Depending on the modpack, settings in the server.properties' must be adjusted
  6. Open your server for editing. Click in the server overview on the name or the grey gear icon of your server.
  7. Then click on server.properties on the left.
  8. Make the necessary changes in the text editor on the right.
Important: The entry level-name=world must not be changed under any circumstances!
If you change this entry, your game will no longer be saved!
  9. Then click on Save
  10. Important: Please set the correct version for Forge, Craftbukkit or Spigot.
In Basic Mode you can change the version under Server Settings.
In Advanced Mode you will find this Setting under Commandline.
  11. Start your server

Note: You can find the "ConfigID" of your server on our page under "Game Server". Note: You can find the FTP login data in the web interface on 4Netplayers.com. Click on your game server, then on FTP at the top.
Then click on the tab Saves, then scroll down a bit and there you will find the login data.
