We explain how you can create an entry in Minecraft for your server.
For this you need the IP address ( e.g. 62.104.17.227 ) of your server and possibly the port ( e.g. 25565 ).
- Start your server if you haven't already done so.
Click on the blue play button in the server overview.
Wait until the status of your server isServer running
. - Start your Minecraft
- Click on Multiplayer
- Click on Add Server at the bottom.
- In the
Server name
field, you can enter a name for the entry.
This name does not have to be the same as your servers! - Under
Server address
you enter the IP address of your server, e.g. 62.104.17.227.
Note: If the port of your server is 25565, it is sufficient to just enter the IP address.
However, if you have changed the port, the entry would look like this:62.104.17.227:25565
. - Click on Done at the bottom.
- Double-click on the entry you just created to join your server.
