Rent an Empyrion server
Rent your own Empyrion server at 4Netplayers.com

Using Reforged Eden as an example, we show how you can upload your own scenario.
Important: These instructions only work if the server has never been started before.
If the server has been started before, you have to delete the old savegame after uploading and activating the scenario!
How and where you can find your savegame, we describe HERE.

Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version) Tip: We recommend using an FTP program such as Filezilla.
Note: You will need to put your server into Advanced Mode!

Please proceed as follows:

  1. Subscribe to the scenario you want to use in the workshop.
  2. Download the scenario. You may have to start your game once.
You will find your scenario in the following directory:
    .../Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/<383120>
Note: Your mods are located on the same hard drive where you installed the game.
  3. Stop your server. The status of your server must be Server not running!
  4. Connect with your FTP program to the Upload FTP.
You can find the login data in the FTP overview by clicking on FTP.
  5. Upload the desired scenario to the following directory:
    /ConfigID/Content/Scenarios
Note: You can find the ConfigID or ConfigurationID for your server on our page under Game Server.
If your configID was e.g. 123456, the path would look like this:/123456/Content/Scenarios
Note: Steam uses the WorkshopID as folder name for the scenario.
So if the scenario was Reforged Eden, the name of the folder you need to upload would be 2154284616
You can get the WorkshopID from the link to the mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2154284616
The number after ?id is the WorkshopID.
  6. Rename the folder on the FTP.
Take Reforged Eden again as an example.
    Change 2154284616 to Reforged Eden.
Important: The folder must be renamed!
  7. Open the settings of your server.
Just click on the name of your server or the grey gearicon.
  8. Click on dedicated.yaml on the left.
  9. In the text editor on the right, scroll down to GameConfig:.
  10. Under CustomScenario:, enter the name of your uploaded folder.
With Reforged Eden, it would look like this: CustomScenario: Reforged Eden.
Important: Note that this is case sensitive!
  11. Click on Save
  12. Start your server
