Here are a few simple steps you can take if your server fails to start correctly.

  1. The first step should be a look into the logs of the server.
In most cases the cause can be found in the logs, which you can find on the Logfiles-FTP.
An explanation of how to connect to this can be found in our Wiki: https://wiki.4netplayers.com/en/FTP_areas .
  2. Have you made changes to the settings in Advanced Mode?
If so, one of the settings may not be correct, so switch back to Basic Mode and try to start the server.
  3. Your used mods can also be a reason why the server can't start correctly.
Remove all mods and try to start the server.
If it starts, you can add one mod at a time to check if the server starts.
  4. Possibly the savegame is damaged. You could try restoring a backup.
Note that some games can create their own backups, such as the Farming Simulator. Use these first.
You can find these in the servers own web interface under SAVEGAMES.
  5. You can also create a new configuration for your server at any time and start it if the above tips do not help.
It is advisable to use the suggested settings first.
Creating new configurations costs you nothing extra and you can create as many as you want.
