You can easily set a password for your Teamspeak server or a channel.
In any case, you must belong to a group with sufficient rights to do so, such as the ServerAdmin group.
If you do not have any rights or have taken them away, we describe HERE how you can get them back.

set Password for your server

  1. Connect to your server
  2. Right click on the name of the server and choose edit virtual server from the menu
  3. Enter your desired password under Password.
  4. Click on Apply at the bottom of the screen
  5. Enter your password a second time to confirm it
  6. You can now close the window


set Password for a channel

  1. Connect to your server
  2. Right click on the name of the channel and select Edit channel from the menu
  3. Enter your desired password under Password.
  4. Click on Apply at the bottom of the screen
  5. You can now close the window
