With the help of ISMCmod we explain how you can install mods for Insurgency: Sandstorm.

Create API key

First you need your Mod.io API key.
Without it, your server can't download the mods.
You can request this in the profile of your Mod.io account.

1. Click on your name in the upper right corner.
2. Click on Profile.

Click on API Access on the left.

1. Under OAuth 2 Management you will find an input field.
   
2. You can assign a name for your keys here.
   

Now enter the name for the actual key and make sure that "Read is selected!
Important: The key must have at least read rights (option Read or Read + Write )!
Copy the generated key into an empty TXT file.
Note: You must keep this key, you can not display it again!

Basic Mode

In Basic Mode you activate the mod as follows: Click on the name of your server.

1. Click on "Mod Settings on the left.
2. Enter your API Key under "API Key.
3. Enter the IDs of the mods in the field Mods. Multiple mods are separated by commas.
4. Then click on Save.

Now click on Server Settings on the left. Now enter the mod under Mutators. In this example, that would be ISMCarmory_legacy.
Note: Multiple mutators are separated by commas.
Then click on Save.

Advanced Mode

In Advanced Mode you activate the mod as follows: Click on the name of your server. Click on GameUserSettings.ini on the left.

1. Add your API Key at AccessToken=.
2. Click on Save at the bottom.
3. Then click on Mods.txt on the left #

Enter the ID of your mod here, in this example the ID is 150867.
Note: Each mod ID comes in a separate line!

1. Click on Save at the bottom.
2. Click last on Commandline.

Now enter the mod under Mutators. In this example, that would be ISMCarmory_Legacy.
Note: Multiple mutators are separated by commas.
Then click on Save.


Now start your server. When you connect to your server now, your client will download the mod if you have not already installed it.
