Rent a 7 Days to Die server
Rent your own 7 Days to Die server now at 4Netplayers.com

Important: You must download and install the server version of this mod!
You can find the server files on GitLab or Nexusmods.

Tip: We recommend using an FTP program such as Filezilla.

Create new configuration

We recommend creating a new configuration.
To do this, click on Create configuration in the middle of our page under Game Server.
Select 7 Days to Die, then do not select Experimental and change settings such as name to your liking.
Finish the setup, but do not start the server yet!

Upload mod

  1. Download the mod and unpack it.
  2. Stop your server. The status of the server must be Server not running!
  3. Connect to the Upload FTP with your FTP program.
    Further down in the article we explain how you can get the necessary login data.
  4. Upload the folders 7DaysToDieServer_Data,Data and Mods into the following directory on the FTP:
    /KonfigID/
    Note: You can find the ConfigID or ConfigurationID for your server on our page under Game Server.
    If your configID was 123456, for example, it would look like this:/123456/.
  5. The mod contains a serverconfig.xml. Do not upload this!
    If you want to customise this, you can do so in Advanced Mode.
  6. Start your server


Note: These instructions can be adapted to all mods that contain server files.
Please note that files like serverconfig.xml or serveradmin.xml should not be uploaded.

Note: You can find the FTP login data in the web interface on 4Netplayers.com.
Click on your game server, then on FTP at the top.
Then click on the tab Upload, then scroll down a bit and there you will find the login data.
You must click on the tab of the respective FTP you want to connect to, otherwise you will connect to the wrong FTP!
