Rent a Rust server
Rent your own Rust server at 4Netplayers.com

In Rust open the console with F1. There you write: client.connect YOUR IP:Gameport
Press ENTER and the game connects to your server.

Add server to favourites

  1. Launch Steam
  2. Click on View -> Server
  3. then click on the TAB Favorites.
  4. click on Add a Server
  5. Enter the IP:queryport of the server (e.g. 62.104.17.227:28019 ) and click on Find games at this address.
    Important: You must use the queryport of the server otherwise Steam cannot find the server!
    The queryport of the server is the gameport of the server +4.
    If the gameport is e.g. 28015, the queryport is 28019.
  6. Now click on Add selected game server to favourites.
  7. You will now find the server ingame as a favourite.
    Important: It is not possible to connect directly to the server from Steam!
