Updates for ARK are automatically installed by our system as soon as one is pushed to Steam.
While an update is being installed, ARK servers cannot be started or stopped. This ensures that updates are installed as quickly as possible.

When are updates not installed?

Updates will be not installed between 03 and 10 am for all games.

How long does it take?

Depending on the size of the patch, it usually takes 30 minutes until the update is available on all machines.

How do I install the update?

Once the update has been installed, the server can simply be restarted. The server will then fetch the update.
