Upload Your Own Map - 7 Days to Die

Tip: We recommend using an FTP program like Filezilla.

Important: Your configuration must be in Advanced Mode.

To upload, please follow these steps:

1. Stop your server. The server status must be Server is not running!
2. Connect to your FTP program to the Savegames FTP.
   You can find the login details in the FTP overview by clicking on FTP.
3. Upload your map to the following directory:
   /KonfigID/worlds/GeneratedWorlds/MapName
   Note: You can find the KonfigID on our website under Gameserver.
   For example, if your KonfigID is 123456 and the map name is Test, it would look like this: /123456/worlds/GeneratedWorlds/Test
4. Open the serverconfig.xml file by clicking on it to edit.
5. Enter your map under the following parameter:
   <property name="GameWorld" value="MapName"/>
   Pay attention to the capitalization!
6. Make any desired changes to other world settings, such as size.
7. If your map includes custom prefabs, click here: Upload Your Own Prefabs for a guide on how to upload them.
8. Start your server now.

Your server should now start with the map you uploaded.
