Upload Savegame in V Rising
Tip: We recommend using an FTP program such as Filezilla.
To upload your savegame, please follow these steps:
- Stop your server. The server status should be “Server is not running”!
- Connect to the Savegames-FTP.
You can find the login details in the FTP overview when you click on FTP. - Upload your savegame to the following directory:
/KonfigID/Saves/v2
Note: The KonfigID or configuration ID for your server can be found on our page under Gameserver.
If your KonfigID is 123456, the path would therefore be /123456/Saves/v2. - Open your server for editing. Click on the name. Then enter the name of your game state
- Basic Mode: Click on Server Settings and enter the name of the savegame under Game State.
- Advanced Mode: Click on ServerHostSettings.json.
Then find the line "SaveName": "world1", and replace world1 with the name of your savegame,
for example "SaveName": "MySave",.
- Click on Save and start the server.
