Upload Savegame Project Zomboid

Before you can upload your savegame, it is advisable to start the server and download the savegame.
How to download your savegame is described here: Download Savegame.
Once you have downloaded your savegame, unpack it.
Now copy your savegame into the corresponding folders and pack the savegame again.

Important: Please make sure to pack the savegame correctly, the directory structure must remain the same!
Also make sure that the name is the same again!

To upload the savegame, proceed as follows:

  1. Stop your server. The status should be Server not running
  2. Connect to your FTP program using the Savegames-FTP.
    You can find the login data in the FTP overview when you click on FTP.
  3. Upload your packed savegame to the following directory:
    ConfigID
    Note: You can find the ConfigID or Configuration ID for your server on our website under Gameserver.
    If your ConfigID is for example 123456, it would look like this: /123456/
    The file is named according to the following scheme: ConfigID_save.zip.
  4. Start your server.
