Uploading Savegame in Empyrion

Tip: We recommend using an FTP program such as Filezilla.
Note: You will need to switch your server to Advanced Mode.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Stop your server. The status of your server should be Server not running!
  2. Connect to the Savegames-FTP.
    You can find the login details in the FTP overview when you click on FTP.
  3. Upload the folder containing your savegame to the following directory:
    /ConfigID/Saves/Games/
    Note: You can find the ConfigID or Configuration ID for your server on our website under Gameserver.
    If your ConfigID is 123456, the path would look like this: /123456/Saves/Games
  4. Open your server for editing. Click on the name under Gameserver to do so.
  5. Click on dedicated.yaml on the left.
  6. Scroll down until you reach GameConfig:.
  7. Enter the name of your savegame under GameName:.
    Please note the capitalization!
    “Save” and “save” are two different savegames.
  8. Start your server.
