Setting a Password in Teamspeak

You can easily set a password for your Teamspeak server or a channel.
In any case, you must belong to a group with sufficient rights, such as the ServerAdmin group.
If you do not have the necessary rights or they have been revoked, we describe here: Lost Privileges how you can regain them.

Setting a Password for the Server

  1. Connect to your server
  2. Right-click on the name of your server and select Edit virtual server
  3. Enter your desired password under Password
  4. Click Apply at the bottom
  5. Enter your password again for confirmation
  6. You can now close the window

Setting a Password for a Channel

  1. Connect to your server
  2. Right-click on the name of your channel and select Edit channel
  3. Enter your desired password under Password
  4. Click Apply at the bottom
  5. You can now close the window
