Installing Datapacks for Minecraft

In this article, we will explain how to install datapacks for Minecraft on your server.
To learn how to upload mods, please refer to our guide here.

Tip: We recommend using an FTP program such as Filezilla.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Stop your server. The status of your server should be “Server not running”.
2. Connect to your FTP program using the Savegames-FTP.
   You can find the login details in the FTP overview when you click on FTP.
3. Upload your datapack to the following directory:
   ConfigID/minecraft-data/world/datapacks
   Note: You can find the ConfigID or Configuration ID for your server on our website under “Gameserver”.
   If your ConfigID is 123456, the directory would look like this: /123456/minecraft-data/world/datapacks.
   If the “datapacks” folder does not exist, create it.
4. Once the datapack is uploaded, start your server.
