How do I install mods on my Rust server

In this article we will explain how to install mods on your Rust server.
First of all, please make sure that Oxide-Plugin is activated under Add-ons.
Without Oxide, mods will not work.
Tip: We recommend using an FTP programme such as Filezilla.

Proceed as follows:

1. Connect with your FTP program to the Upload-FTP.
   You can find the login data in the FTP overview by clicking on ‘‘‘FTP’’’.
2. Then upload the mods to the following folder:
   /configurationID/oxide/plugins/
   Note: The configID or configurationID for your server can be found on our page under Gameserver.
   If your configID is e.g. 123456 it would look like this:/123456/oxide/plugins/
3. Once you have uploaded your mods, restart your server.
4. Once the server is running, stop it.
   The status of the server must be Server not running!
5. Connect to the Savegames-FTP with your FTP program.
6. If your mods have created configuration files, you will find them here:/configurationID/oxide/config.
7. To edit those configs, download them, edit them and then upload them.
8. When you are done with the mod installation, start your server.
