How to install mods on my Factorio server

The game Factorio allows you to install modifications on both the client and the server.

The client and the server must always have the same modifications.
The modification must be compatible with the game version.
Otherwise, the server/client may not start or there may be difficulties.

Mod installation


Download the desired modification.
Stop the game server via the web interface.
Connect to the upload FTP and upload the ZIP archive with the mod to the directory ServerID\mods.
You can find the login details in the FTP overview when you click on FTP.
Finally, start the game server again via the web interface.
