How to install mods on my Eco server
In this article, we will explain how you can install mods on your Eco server.
Tip: We recommend using an FTP program, such as Filezilla.
Follow these steps:
- Connect to the Upload-FTP with your FTP program.
You can find the login data in the FTP overview when you click on FTP. - Upload the mods to the following folder:
/ConfigurationID/Mods
Note: You can find the ConfigurationID for your server on our website under Gameserver.
If your ConfigurationID is, for example, 123456, it would look like this: /123456/Mods. - The mods must be unpacked. So, do not upload ZIP files.
- Once you have uploaded your mods, restart your server.
- After the server has started up once, please stop it.
The server status should be Server not running! - Connect to the Savegames-FTP with your FTP program.
- If your mods have created configuration files, you will usually find them here:
/ConfigurationID/Configs/Mods - To edit them, download the files, make your changes, and then upload them again.
- When you are finished with the mod installation, start your server.
