How to install Mods for Valheim

Important: In order to use mods, you must first enable Valheim+ under Add-Ons.

Tip: We recommend using an FTP program such as Filezilla.

Stop your server.
Connect to your server’s upload FTP using your FTP program.
You can find the login details in the FTP overview by clicking on FTP.
Upload your mods to the following directory:
/ConfigID/BepInEx/plugins
If the directory doesn’t exist, create it.
Please note the capitalization!
Note: The ConfigID or Configuration ID for your server can be found on our website under Gameserver.
For example, if your ConfigID is 123456, it would look like this: /123456/BepInEx/plugins.
Once you have uploaded your mods, you can start your server.
Note: Some mods create a configuration file after the first launch.
If your mod is one of them, proceed to step 5.
Once your server is running, stop it again and wait until the status is Server not running.
Connect to the Savegames FTP using your FTP program.
You can find the configuration file of the mod under:
/ConfigID/BepInEx/config
Download and edit this file, then upload it again.
Start your server again.
