To become an admin, you first need your SteamID.
The easiest way to get them is here: steamid.io.

Basic Mode

In Basic Mode, enter the SteamID in the corresponding field under Add-Ons.
You are free to choose the name, as this only serves to distinguish it.
Under permissions you can set what the admin is allowed to do on the server.
If the right is highlighted in blue, the right is active.

Advanced Mode

In Advanced Mode you can add admins either in the admins_simple.ini or in the admins.cfg.
We present you both possibilities.

admins_simple.ini

In the admins_simple.ini the entry looks like this:

"STEAM_0:0:00000" "abcdef" //Admin1

First comes the SteamID of the admin, followed by the flags.
What the individual flags mean can be read in the admin_levels.cfg.
Last comes the name of the admin. As in Basic Mode, the name is freely selectable.

admins.cfg

An admin in the Admins.cfg must be entered in XML style. This looks like this:

Admins
{
    "Admin1"
    {
        "auth"            "steam"
        "identity"        "STEAM_0:1:001"
        "flags"            "abcdefghijklmnopqrstz"
    }
    "Admin2"
    {
        "auth"            "steam"
        "identity"        "STEAM_0:1:002"
        "flags"            "abcdefghijklmnopqrstz"
    }
    "Admin3"
    {
        "auth"            "steam"
        "identity"        "STEAM_0:1:003"
        "flags"            "abcdefghijklmnopqrstz"
    }
    "Admin4"
    {
        "auth"            "steam"
        "identity"        "STEAM_0:1:004"
        "flags"            "abcdefghijklmnopqrstz"
    }
}

Note that only the name, the SteamID and the flags may be edited here.
You can also assign admins to a group, which would look like this:

Admins
{
    "Admin1"
    {
        "auth"            "steam"
        "identity"        "STEAM_0:1:001"
        "group"            "Gruppe1"
    }
    "Admin2"
    {
        "auth"            "steam"
        "identity"        "STEAM_0:1:002"
        "group"            "Gruppe2"
    }
    "Admin3"
    {
        "auth"            "steam"
        "identity"        "STEAM_0:1:003"
        "group"            "Gruppe3"
    }
    "Admin4"
    {
        "auth"            "steam"
        "identity"        "STEAM_0:1:004"
        "group"            "Gruppe4"
    }
}

You can create the groups in the admin_groups.cfg.
Otherwise, only the name, the SteamID and the group may be changed.
